Meta’s AI runs video editing on two Mac Studios
Meta released Muse Spark Open on October 15, with model weights that can run locally. The company demonstrated app changes and video editing using two M5 Ultra Mac Studios.
Finding moments and cropping footage vertically
In Meta’s demonstration, the AI controlled DaVinci Resolve, reviewed footage frame by frame, selected strong moments and cropped them vertically. Another workflow handled bug fixes, new features and a full build for a social networking app.
Two machines with substantial memory
The demonstrated configuration combines two Mac Studios, each with 512GB of memory. This is not a claim that any everyday Mac can run the same workflow.
The downloadable model can be customized and is also available through hosted services. Commercial terms apply. The demonstration provides a concrete example of AI operating creative software locally.
AI tasks are connecting directly to the creative workspace.
What stands out in Meta’s demonstration is the AI watching footage, then cropping it inside the editor.
It goes beyond identifying a good moment and carries through to the next operation.
That is the interesting part. Asking AI to look at material and asking it to move production forward are getting closer together.
NVIDIA has also released AI for local agent workloads. Runway is expanding options for editing with reference images and existing footage as well as generating video.
The direction suggests a workflow in which creators provide intent and material, AI advances it into an editable form, and people inspect and refine it on screen.
A request to AI becomes the next action in the creative workspace.
The description lists beginner and intermediate Illustrator courses, a book, and related resources. No caption excerpt is supplied, so it does not establish the Claude–After Effects workflow or model details suggested by the title.
The creator describes delegating editing to Claude Code for a 15-second promotional clip, HeyGen avatar footage, and character videos made with Google Flow. The walkthrough includes actual instructions, failed attempts and fixes, and turning the workflow into reusable skills.
This roundup revisits five AI stories covered October 5–10, including image generation, watermark detection, shopping, and agents with email identities. It discusses reported capabilities and incidents, then recommends specifying completion criteria, permission boundaries, and when an agent should stop and ask.
The creator presents a subjective LLM tier list dated October 18, 2026, judging models by development use, agent capabilities, and cost. Opus 5.5 receives the highest ranking, with comparisons covering DeepSeek, Gemini, GPT-6 variants, and other models.
A beginner-focused walkthrough covers where AI agents save files and how read and write permissions work. It compares outputs from disorganized and organized folders, then demonstrates creating a dedicated workspace and instruction file for tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
The video describes Gemini agents that pursue goals in the cloud and coworker agents with company email identities. It covers oversight, permissions, and reported NTT Docomo and SOMPO examples, while stating that pricing and availability dates had not been officially announced.
According to the description, Claude Code cloud sessions run in separate virtual machines and continue while you are away. The walkthrough covers GitHub connections, environment setup, starting sessions from a phone, running tasks in parallel, and reviewing completed work.
The creator gives eight reasons Claude subscribers should consider using Claude Code. Examples span website design, Blender 3D modeling, video editing, documents, everyday work, and internal tools. The description identifies Hostinger as the video’s sponsor.
