Claude Duet brings the next step in your work to you each morning
An AI briefs you in the morning and keeps working after you close your laptop. Anthropic announced the research preview of Claude Duet on October 21. Developers on Hacker News and Reddit are discussing its plans and how it compares with other AI assistants.
Preparing the next step from your messages and calendar
Duet checks connected apps every few hours, prepares morning briefs and drafts replies. You can ask it to schedule meetings, build sales forecasts or create a dashboard. It has its own cloud environment, so your phone or computer does not need to stay on.
You review messages and payments before they go ahead
Before sending a message, making a payment, signing a document or deleting something, it shows the action and waits for approval. The design separates preparing work from decisions that belong to you.
The waitlist initially opens to US Pro and Max subscribers. Duet works through dedicated mobile apps and the web, sharing the usage limits of the rest of Claude. The announcement does not specify a launch in Japan.
By the time AI asks you to review, the work has moved forward.
What stands out about Claude Duet today is how the morning brief and the work done beforehand become one experience.
What arrives is more than a to-do list. Draft replies and the material needed to review them are already there.
That changes the first conversation of the morning. From wondering where to begin to deciding whether to go ahead with what is ready.
A published account from an Anthropic sales representative in Japan describes a similar shift. AI sorts incoming inquiries and prepares Japanese and English emails before the person reviews them at the start of the day. A way of handing off work developed by an individual is becoming an app experience.
Microsoft's new contact center service also connects existing customer information, lets AI handle interactions and hands them to people when needed. The next response can begin with the earlier conversation already in context.
If that handoff shows what was researched, what is finished and which decision will move it forward, deciding becomes easier. The review screen itself becomes a place to advance the work.
An AI's report arrives ready for you to choose the next step. That will become the new standard for handing over work.
Three approaches are compared: text alone, a character image with text, and a character image with a reference video. The workflow covers character creation in Higgsfield, motion recreation with Genjutsu, outfit and background changes, and corrections to unsuccessful scenes.
The description lists beginner and intermediate Illustrator courses, a book, and related resources. No caption excerpt is supplied, so it does not establish the Claude–After Effects workflow or model details suggested by the title.
The creator describes delegating editing to Claude Code for a 15-second promotional clip, HeyGen avatar footage, and character videos made with Google Flow. The walkthrough includes actual instructions, failed attempts and fixes, and turning the workflow into reusable skills.
Covers using email to create proposal outlines and calculation spreadsheets, register calendar events, and add tasks. Also addresses turning documents into slides and slides into email drafts, alongside usage requirements and considerations for Japanese-language support.
The uploader presents five reported Copilot updates: a naming change, expanded model choices including Grok, the official release of Copilot Vision, PowerPoint skills and brand kits, and the addition of skills to Agent Builder.
A CEO and CTO who says he uses four accounts ranks seven features, including session naming, scheduled tasks, browser operation, Artifacts, Computer Use, Remote Control, and skills. Demonstrations show configuration using desktop app screens dated October 19, 2026.
Walks through four projects: a podcast landing page, a Chrome extension, a Python file-sorting script, and a local subscription tracker. Covers project rules in claude.md, managing terminal commands through chat, fixing layouts with screenshots, and reducing token costs.
The uploader presents a workflow for building an app with Claude in Xcode without traditional coding. Topics include connecting a Claude account, creating a SwiftUI project, developing a journal app through five prompts, and AI-assisted editing and debugging.
